For over a decade, I have been absorbing eclectic selection of textual materials (articles, essays, research papers, books, interviews, biographies) from esoteric domains of philosophy of mind, cognition, biology, social sciences, ecology, architecture and design. The resonance of ‘structure’, ‘connectivity’, ‘complexity’ embedded in these domains began to transform my thoughts. In attempting to articulate, I started sketching perpetually on loose papers and notebooks using ball-point pen, micro-tip pen and pencil. The resultant “abstract forms” started revealing a schema for my unfolding view.

One day, I saw a child playing in wet mud outside my house and also saw a few sun mica sheets lying around. In an immediate act of synthesis, I started applying a layer of wet mud on the creamy colored sun mica surface (Size: 40cm x 25cm) and instinctively began scrawling all over it with my finger. Quite a sudden I had found a novel technique to translate my evolving imagery.

Currently my ‘perspective’ has started finding expression through the medium of sculptures and installations. I build this by using materials like plastic tips used in biological experiments, granite chips and matchsticks
Come enjoy the visual experience!
